UPLOADING YOUR WEBSITE using WS_FTP

On the left side of WSFTP, you will see a map of your hard drive, this is your Local hard drive and folders and on the right side you'll see a map of your serve with folders.

Double Click the silver icon with the link image.

Look at the Remote System box, you will see it shows /public_html, this is your root folder on the server.

Find your files or website you want to upload on your local hard drive

Note: Use the up and down scroll bar in the window, your drives are always at the bottom of the list.

To FTP or upload a file from your hard drive to your web server, simply highlight (left click) the file you want to upload (on the left).

In the center under the green arrows is a button that sets the format to upload in, this should be set for AUTO.

* FYI: Binary is for Images and Ascii would be text only files.

Locate the left and right arrows located between the two screens. Click the arrow that points to the right. The file will now be uploaded and placed your web server.

Your Files will show up on the server. Now go to your domain and look for your updates.
